Sharing Validated Data via Template

If you’re a supplier who’s received a data request from a XYCLE user and already have validated impact assessment data available, this video will walk you through how to quickly and easily respond using XYCLE’s standardised Excel template.

This approach is ideal for one-off requests and ensures the data you provide can be directly integrated into your customer’s LCA model.

When to Use the XYCLE Template

• You have validated impact assessment data (e.g., GHG emissions, water use, etc.) for your product.

• You’ve received a one-time data request from a customer using XYCLE.

• You prefer to share data statically (not through a live model).

How It Works

1. Download the Excel Template
   Your customer should provide you with XYCLE’s official data submission template. This file includes all required fields and formatting.

2. Complete the Required Fields
   Fill in:

   • Product name

   • Supplier company name

   • Impact assessment results (for all relevant EF categories)

   • Data quality indicators
     Each field is clearly labelled, and the impact categories align with XYCLE’s LCA framework.

3. Send Back the Completed File
   Once filled in, download and send the completed Excel file back to the customer who made the request. They will be able to integrate this into their model immediately.

📌 Note: This data will be static and does not update automatically across other projects or users.
