Sharing Data through XYCLE

This onboarding video is designed for suppliers who want to share validated product data through XYCLE in a dynamic and integrated way. Instead of relying on static templates or email exchanges, XYCLE allows you to make your data directly available to your customer’s LCA model.

What This Video Covers

Sharing from Different Views
You will see how to share your model with customers from either the homepage or from within the model itself. The video explains how to enter the recipient’s email, assign viewer or owner access, and manage permissions like revoking or transferring ownership.

Making Your Model Discoverable
The video highlights the importance of publishing your data in XYCLE. Only published models will appear in a customer’s background database. Once published, your customer can map your data point into their model and use it as part of their assessment.

How Shared Data Appears to Customers
You will see how customers can find your published product, check when it was last updated, and view the live impact results. These values respond dynamically to changes in your upstream model.

Limitations to Keep in Mind
At the time of filming, XYCLE does not yet support detailed permissions that allow you to control how much of your model the customer can see. This feature is coming soon, and we will update you as it becomes available.
