# Databricks Integration

## Connecting XYCLE with Your Enterprise Data

XYCLE now integrates with Databricks, allowing users to automate project creation directly from operational data systems. For data-intensive users, this means bypassing the traditional time-consuming process of manual data transfer and formatting.

This integration uses a dedicated data lake to bridge your existing systems with XYCLE. Structured inventory data, such as BOMs and operational metrics, can flow through this intermediary into XYCLE’s modelling environment using [Delta Sharing, a secure protocol by Databricks](https://www.databricks.com/product/delta-sharing). Once the connection is live, LCIs can be generated from enterprise systems with minimal effort.
